Mark's Buffalo Ride

Part way around our bike trail we came across a small family farm alongside the Thu Bon River who had some water buffalo, and for $1, the farmer agreed to give Mark a buffalo ride around the small farm.

After coaxing the large beast to its feet and bashing its hide to remove some of the dust, Mark had an unforgettable ride around the farm while the family looked on somewhat bemused, and then into the river which was a bit scary. He thought the buffalo would roll over for a wash like elephants do. We thought so too, but sadly no.
